The founder of
The Law Offices of Tony Y. Kim, P.C.
is a son of immigrants. Born and raised in Chicago,
IL, Mr. Kim was fortunate to grow up in one of
America’s most culturally diverse cities.
Mr. Kim received a Bachelor’s degree from
Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) with a major in
Political Science, specializing in International
Relations and Comparative Politics. He obtained a
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Indiana University
Maurer School of Law (Bloomington, IN), concentrating
in International Law.
For over twenty years, Mr. Kim has been practicing
solely in the field of immigration and nationality
law. Prior to establishing his firm, Mr. Kim worked at
the U.S. Department of Labor and a global corporate
immigration law firm.
Mr. Kim is a member of the American Immigration
Lawyers Association (AILA). He holds law
licenses in Illinois, North Carolina, and the District
of Columbia. Because immigration law is federal law,
Mr. Kim is licensed to practice immigration law in all
50 states.
